ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule Announced
The ICC has officially announced the schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023. The 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup is scheduled to take place in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023.
The tournament will feature a total of 10 teams. India, being the host nation, has gained automatic qualification. Other qualified teams include Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa.
These teams secured their spots through their performance in the 2020-2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. The final two participating teams will be determined through the ongoing World Cup Qualifiers being held in Zimbabwe.

The World Cup 2023 will follow a round-robin format, with each team playing against every other team once. The top four teams from the group stage will progress to the semi-finals, with the winners of the semis meeting in the final match.
India's opening match is scheduled against defending champions Australia on October 8 in Chennai. Subsequent matches will be against Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England, Qualifier 2, South Africa, and Qualifier 1.
The grand final of the tournament is planned for November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It's important to note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change. The final schedule will be provided by the ICC closer to the start of the tournament.
