Back in 2014, the BJP clinched victory in 7 seats, while Congress managed to secure just one seat in Rohtak. The Indian National Lok Dal, led by Om Prakash Chautala, bagged two seats – Sirsa and Hisar.
Fast forward to 2019, Haryana boasted a voting population of 2.53 crore, comprising 1.34 crore men and 1.18 crore women. Notably, there were around 9.77 lakh first-time voters in the state during that election.
