Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Marries Model Grecia Munoz
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal recently tied the knot with Mexican model Grecia Munoz, as per reports. The couple returned from their honeymoon in February, according to sources close to them.
Deepinder Goyal, the 41-year-old co-founder of Zomato, married Grecia Munoz around two months ago, mentioned insiders who preferred to remain anonymous. Munoz, originally from Mexico, has transitioned from modeling and now describes herself as a television host. Her Instagram bio reflects her comfort in India, where she currently resides.
Before the wedding, Munoz shared glimpses of her exploration around Delhi in January, showcasing her enthusiasm for the city. Goyal, who founded Zomato in 2008 after leaving his job at Bain & Company, has been a key figure in the food delivery industry.
However, Zomato faced criticism recently over its plans for a separate green uniform for a new vegetarian-only food delivery service called “Pure Veg Mode”. Goyal responded to the backlash, announcing the rollback of the green dress code idea. He stated that all delivery agents, including those for vegetarian orders, will now wear the familiar red shirts or t-shirts.
Goyal's wealth soared after Zomato's successful listing a few years ago, making him one of India's wealthiest individuals. At the time of the listing, his stake in Zomato was valued at approximately $650 million, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
