The national emblem unveiled weighs about 9,500 kg and is 6.5 meters high. It looks incredible and is a proud moment for any Indian.

It is on the top of the central fire of the new parliament building. The emblem is standing on a steel structure, which weighs around 6,500 kilograms to help the symbol.

PM Mr. Narendra Modi spoke to the officials who were present and the workers involved day and night with work in the new building. He also made several surprise visits to the site to monitor and inspect the work that was going on.

The government has been speeding up the work on the new parliament that will be ready shortly in a few months. It is not the first time PM has interacted with workers. He has also visited the site multiple times to monitor.

Parliament is a state-of-the-art building. The architecture is very similar to the existing parliament and will be one of India's icons.

So, the Modi government is working overtime on this one. The placement of the emblem on the parliament building has gone through connecting and sketching.

The whole process of casting the emblem was in the planning phase for a considerable time. The process got completed today as the PM unveiled it today.

The architecture will be a pride of India and the prime minister. Unveiling the national emblem cast in the parliament will be visible to anybody crossing the Rajpath or in the vicinity. It would be an eye-catching moment for anyone who can see the pride of the Indian nation.

The symbol is at Saint Paul and would be the power center of democracy.

Now one question arises in the minds of the Indians. Is the parliament building going to keep up with the time frame, or is it running behind schedule?

New Parliament for New India

There was some derailing of the schedule during the COVID period, but the work is in full swing.

Even the speaker of Lok Sabha had said that perhaps this would be the last monsoon session in the old parliament building, the government has indicated.

It's a matter of great curiosity and interest for the people of this country. To see the new building which will be coming up very shortly.

Remember that the prime minister is talking about the new parliament and how it would be a matter of great pride for the country.

The current parliament house is also running out the capacity, as far as the strength of the parliament members is concerned. The upper and lower houses will accommodate more people in the new parliament, while this old parliament will transform into a new museum.

The entire concept, architecture, and sketch of the new parliament are awe-inspiring, and the building has gone through different stages.

We can say that within a few months, the new parliament will be ready for a fresh start of a new parliament session.
