IMD: India has received lot of rain & experienced heat waves

According to the IMD prediction, India's temperatures will be below to close to average for the next five days.
On Monday, there was a lot of rain in certain areas of India, including West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Delhi NCR, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Goa, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Several regions, including Rajasthan, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh, experienced hailstorms.
IMD listed western disturbance as one of the causes of the country-wide heavy rainfall.

“A Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation lies over Haryana & neighbourhood in lower to upper tropospheric levels,” IMD stated in the press release. In the middle troposphere, a cyclonic circulation is present over south Pakistan as part of another Western Disturbance. Lower tropospheric levels over northwest Rajasthan have an induced cyclonic circulation.

In lower tropospheric levels, a trough/wind discontinuity extends from west Vidarbha to south interior Karnataka.
According to the IMD prediction, India's temperatures will be below to close to average for the next five days. Furthermore, it said that over the next five days, there won't be any heatwave conditions in any part of India.
Northwest India will have extensive rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning during the next five days. Hailstorms are expected in the states of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
In several areas of central India, widespread rains and thunderstorms are expected to happen.

East India's West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha are among the regions that might see widespread heavy rains, thunderstorms, and lightning.

Over the next five days, states in South India, including Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, will experience heavy to very heavy rainfall.

Over the course of the week, there will be significant rainfall in several areas of Northeast India, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya.
