Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions is now available for free on a few Airtel prepaid plans beginning at Rs 399. Check out the calling, data, and OTT features of the plans.
Last year, Indian telecom companies Airtel and Jio updated a number of mobile recharge contracts and eliminated OTT perks from many or practically all of them. Jio customers presently have access to OTT services on a few postpaid plans; however, Airtel customers may still make use of OTT features on a few prepaid plans.
However, in a recent modification to its tariffs, Airtel offered a free Disney Plus Hotstar subscription to additional plans that also included unlimited talk, text, and internet usage.
Telecom Talk said that Airtel only provided Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions for its two prepaid plans, which are Rs 399, Rs 839, Rs 499, and Rs 3359.
In a recent update, the telecom added a free Disney Plus Hotstar subscription to three more prepaid cellphone recharge plans with a price tag of Rs 719, Rs 779, and Rs 999. Let's take a closer look at all of the Airtel prepaid plans that include a free Disney Plus Hotstar subscription as well as other perks.
Disney+ Hotstar subscription is available through Airtel's prepaid plans.
Plan priced at Rs 399: This plan offers 28 days of validity and comes with a 3-month free trial of Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile. The plan provides 100 SMS per day, 2.5GB of Internet per day, and unlimited calling over all local, STD, and roaming networks. A subscription to the Apollo 24|7 Circle is one of the extra perks, among others.
The Rs 499 plan comes with a complimentary 3-month membership to Disney+ Hotstar subscription Mobile and offers 3GB of data use each day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited calling for 28 days of validity. Additional advantages include free Hello Tunes, a membership to Apollo 24|7 Circle, and more.
Rs 719 plan: Airtel provides an 84-day pack with 1.5GB of data per day, 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited talking, 100 SMS per day, and a 3-month free membership to Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile via its app and website.
Users receive 1.5GB of daily internet access, unlimited talking, 100 SMS per day, and more with the Rs 779 plan for a period of 90 days. Among the advantages of OTT is a complimentary 3-month membership to Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile on the Airtel app and website.
Plan for Rs. 839: Like other prepaid packages, this one offers unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of data per day for 84 days. Users will also receive a 3-month subscription to Disney Plus, Hotstar Mobile, and other things.
Rs 999 plan: This quarterly plan includes 2.5GB of rollover daily data use, calling and SMS privileges, and 84 days of validity. Users of this plan will receive 84 days of Amazon Prime Membership in addition to a 3-month Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription.
Rs 3359 plan: This yearly plan offers 356 days of calling, 2.5GB of rollover data each day, and SMS advantages. Users receive a one-year membership to Disney Plus, Hotstar Mobile, and Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition for over-the-top services.
