The rumors stemmed from an incident in Fresno, California, where two men were shot following an altercation on Fairmont and Holt Avenue. Speculation arose that one of the victims was Goldy Brar, but the Fresno police department has clarified that this is not the case.
Lieutenant William Dooley, a public information officer, addressed the online chatter, stating definitively, “If you are inquiring about the shooting victim speculated to be ‘Goldy Brar,' we can confirm that this is absolutely false.”
